MOBILITY HUBS

A mobility hub is a multi-modal center where many different forms of transportation converge. A mobility hub facilitates the connection between various modes of travel and the surrounding destinations. They increase connectivity, safety, and multi-modal transit opportunities such as walking, biking, riding scooters, autonomous vehicles, driving, and riding public transit.

Mobility hubs are vital to any successful transportation network because they simplify the complex connections between available transit modes and generate first/last mile solutions. They serve an important role in how users get to and experience a destination and succeed in increasing the usability of an area when they are thoroughly planned out, thoughtfully designed, and well-equipped.
